CJ is an undergraduate student at Haverford College studying Chemistry and Geology. She is passionate about understanding how human activities affect water quality and ecosystems.

At Villanova, she studies the toxicity of disinfection byproducts formed during drinking water treatment, utilizing both human cell cultures and a novel chemical assay. Outside the lab, CJ leads a stream monitoring project in Swarthmore, where she tracks salt pollution and other effects of urban runoff.

When she's not doing research, CJ enjoys playing drums and spending time outdoors.

Research Interests: Contaminants of emerging concern, stormwater management, toxicity, sustainable water infrastructure
