Brian is currently a PhD student in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering. He is from Wixom, MI and graduated from the University of Michigan with his BSE and MSE in Environmental Engineering. In his previous lab, he worked on the Ann Arbor Drinking Water Pilot Project and investigated the unintended consequences of upgrading water treatment. Now he is working on a variety of projects that look at quantifying the toxicological impact of various contaminants of concern, such as disinfection byproducts and tire-derived organic pollutants. Outside of research, Brian enjoys cooking and baking.
